Crazy?

Okay, I am 18wks +... today I heard the heartbeat because I had to go to Urgent care to check for Strep. (Sore throat and Feeling Nasty, better now.) Then it hit me.... I'm having a baby.

I have been so worried about things going wrong due to my history. I didn't want to get excited and be crushed although I would have been either way. So once I passed where I went into preterm labor last time I thought I would automatically start jumping for joy. I didn't. I was more excited but not really as I expected.

Now... my appointment for the EXTRA long ultra sound is in ten days, I heard the heartbeat today and felt my body snatcher being all pissed off because of the Fetal Dopler Unit and BOOM.... it was like the FIRST time.

I am THRILLED. SUPER EXCITED. RAMBLING LIKE A MAD WOMAN TO MY OTHER HALF. I just can't contain myself.

I am WAY off schedule aren't I. LOL

Awww, that's so great. Yes, you may have contained your excitement a little longer than most but we all do things like that to protect ourselves. I've been super excited from the day of the positive test result but the actual realisation that I am having a baby has only really sunk in of late.
