Why do credit card companies keep sending me applications, then when i fill them out they say i cant have the card!?

If youve had loads of applications in a short amount of time it can go against you

Thanks girls! I have a credit card, but its interest is through the roof because i had no credit rating before and no one would give me one. I keeo getting the applications, and they have 0% balance transfers so thought it would be easier to trasfer it over to one with smaller interest. Guess ill just keep going as i am then lol.
