Croup... Contagious??

We have been visiting a friend today & her 2 children.
She was telling me how she was up all night with her toddler, he couldnt breath, & how she nearly had to rush to A&E. The dr. said this morning, he has croup.
Should i be worried me & my 5mo have it? As we spent all afternoon with them.

Yes its contagious. There is a good chance your LO may end up with a ''cold'' from being exposed.
