Daisy is 1 year old on saturday and for the last week she has been crying in her sleep a few times before we go to bed and then goes back to sleep. She has slept 7pm - 8am for as long as I can remember and never usually wakes. When she cried sometimes I need to pick her up cuddle her then she'll go straight off to sleep... what could it be? bad dreams? :help:

I know ur Lo is a fair bit older but aria does this as well. In fact I've just got into bed and she screamed and nearly gave me a heart attack!

I've heard youngsters have nightmares, much more than adults so I'm sure this is all it is.

I know my LO is younger than yours. But its happened to him a few times in the past. He does stop after a few seconds and i normally dont have to pick him up to comfort him.
    Maybe its bad dreams!?

Ruby has always done this on and off. No idea why. I've been told it can be due to overtiredness but I can't see any correlation between Ruby being overtired and it happening more.

Abby does this and always has. I don't think it's bad dreams, more that she is awake (sometimes more awake than others) and she doesn't want to be.
