crying out in sleep...

My LO is 7 weeks old. She has been a little off her food the last day or so, only occasionally finishing the 3oz bottle. She fed 3oz at 6pm after her bath but then wouldn't really settle. She fed another 2oz at 7.30. She went straight to sleep after that. All evening, she has been crying out in her sleep. She doesn't seem in pain.
Is this normal? x x

I can't really help.. But my LO has always done that.. Not every time he sleeps but every so often he cries out as if he's about to go into a full screaming fit an then just stops and is peacfully back to sleep.. Gas pain? Cramp? Bad dream (is that possible)?
I feel like whatever it is, it's probably ok!

My baby does this sometimes too. She's 15 weeks old now but has been doing it on and off since about 6 weeks. I've seen other people speak about it on here too so think its pretty common. Does she soothe herself back to sleep or is easily settled afterwards?

My son (11 weeks old) does this as well and it always seems so sad! He will make such sad little faces and stick his lower lip out and begin to cry and it goes away in an instant! Back to sleep! Must be random gas pains as others suggested. Don't see how our babies could be having nightmares!

Yeah she generally goes back to sleep, she pulls little sad faces and frowns too. Bless. Xx
