Few questions about healing from a c section:

When does the redness typically go away?

Does the numbness at the incision site/scar ever go away?

When, if at all, does the pinching and occasional pain the scar area go away?

Thanks in advance!

I had my CS over a year ago so I don't quite remember when the redness went away. I still have some numbness and pain periodically, unfortunately..

What do you mean by redness?

My scar itself is still reddish purple, however there are areas that the scar has faded to white (so the line is intermittent)

I have no numbness and I get very little pain, other than normal cyclical pain (which seems to be worse along my scar but no more intense than prior to my section)

I'm 7 months pp next week.

the entire line of the scar is still red. I'll post a picture after I finish feeding the baby

the pain is a pinching, typically a few minutes every day, in/around the scar.

Here is my scar. Red and raised

It looks like its healing great. Mines was probably similar when my wee one was the age of yours. Mines has shrunk in length, is flat, and now has white patches. The rest has gone purply-red now too. Its so graduql I didn't really realise how much smaller it was til I really thought about it!

Thanks!I suffer endometriosis and so I'm worried about the endo growing in the scar and causing incisional endo problems
