Erm how do you ladies clean your curtains?! Thats if you ever do.....

I have plain cream ones in my living room, they are very thin and earlier to day i put one in the washing machine on a 30wash because i accidently stood on the tomato ketchup bottle and it squirted up the curtain :dohh:
but now the curtain has shrunk loads and is too short for the window :dohh::dohh:
Theres no lable with washing instructions either!!
Looks like i will be buying new curtains now!

My mum used to put hers in the washing machine.

Maybe it was the fabric? Handwash cycle may have been better

I usually shove them in the machine or just steam them.
