My LO is almost 14 months and on Wednesday we was seeing a doctor for his allergy, anyways the doctor told me I need to stop feeding him during the night in order for him to have his breakfast, he usually never finishes breakfast and the doctor said if I didn't feed him all night and first thing in the morning then he would be hungry and eat, which does make sense but how an earth do I stop?
His been used to sleeping on the breast from day one and that's the only way he'll sleep, we bed share and he wakes up a lot and I find him latched on all the time and in the morning I always let him feed then offer him breakfast, usually he eats sometimes he refuses but he never finishes one weetabix ever!
OH always tells me I feed him way too much during the day and that's why he never wants food cause his full on my milk. Can my milk really make him too full to eat?
So how do I cut down these feeds or should I just continue? And when will he learn to sleep without being breast fed to sleep?
Any advice or suggestions please x
