Cycle Day 1 anyone? (TTC#1)

Hey ladies,

Well, I just got the dreaded Af. Happy Valentine's Day to me.

I have found it's really great to have people to share the journey with and was wondering if anyone else is on CD1 (or close to it) and would like to be a cycle buddy? You know, someone to go crazy and stress over symptoms with!!

Hubby and I are now on cycle #2 of TTC. I have fairly regular cycles, 28-33 days. And every month I think I'm pregnant, even when we weren't trying.

Hi, i'm on CD2 today. af came yesterday 12 days late and test was negative anyway. Had a blighted ovum in october and cycle had just got back to normal before this last 40 day cycle. Normally between 28 and 30 day cycles and really hoping for a BFP soon.

Trying not to try to hard but it is all i can think about especially as we get closer to ehat would have been our due date in april if all had gone well.

Fxed for all of us for this cycle.

I am also CD1 and we're starting cycle 2!!!!

I just came off BC and was so excited to get AF today BC it meant I had a good cycle right off the bat!

This month I am tracking CP and may do grapefruit juice because I never got EWCM last cycle.

I'm temping orally and using preseed.

12 days late would of driven me insane!!! And then to have that followed up with a BFN? Heartbreaking!! I wish you the best of luck!!! Hopefully we all get those BFP's soon!!!

It's CD2 for me. Yesterday, I had the period from hell. My cramps were terrible, and I bled through a tampon every two hours. I prefer my periods when I'm on birth control, but who can have a baby that way?

Today has been better, but it's busy. I have two exams at school, and work right after. No time for Valentine's Day romances here!

I'm doing great today. I swear, this whole TTC thing made me a super bitch for the last 7 days of my cycle. Better today though.

Ugh, Af is super heavy and extra crampy, but the first day or two of my cycle is always like that. Hubby woke me with flowers, candy and a card this morning, so that really turned my day around!! Too bad there will be no romance for me later.

Hanging in there. For some reason I got 0 cramps this month and they were horrid pre-birth control. They are also lighter than pre-BC. But I'll take it! I'm thinking they might start getting worse as I progress.

Other than that....just trying to get things ready to move on Saturday. We built a new house and close tomorrow AM. And a nice giant cold sore decided to appear this AM. Ugh. Probably due to the stress of work, the TWW, and the house.

I'm looking forward to cycle 2.....now that I kind of know what to expect I'm hoping the next TWW will be much less stressful.

Are y'all following SMEP? Or OPKing?

I'll start OPKing on CD10. FF thought my O day was CD12, but I thought it was CD14 or maybe even CD16. So we'll see what this month brings.

I use OPK's.

I used the CB digis last month and still have some left. I was thinking of supplementing with ICs so I can test more than once a day. In addition, on cycle 1 I got two surges, so I may just keep POAS for awhile so that I don't miss it.

I use the internet cheapies. Wondfo brand. I have used them for just one month and I thought they were bad until I kept using them and then got an amazingly dark test line, and then I felt dumb for thinking that they were all broken, lol. I ovulate around Cycle Day 14-16, so I start using them on cycle day 12 once a day, and then twice a day Cycle Day 14-17 and adjust as needed.

Hey SMandel22 - and everyone here - looks like I am joining this group. Thanks for putting this together.

I am 36, going into 5th month ttc for #1. Thought I had it this past month and was 3 days late (first time I have been late in many, many years). Temp even went up this AM. Started spotting yesterday and really hoped it was decidual but, alas, it's real. "They" say give it another month or two then see specialist due to our age (God that makes me feel old.) Was really down last night but it's only been 4 months and in reality that is not long.

A nice big glass of wine tonight will be my reward for enduring, then off to the races again!

Last month was the first month I used bbt and opk so I am going to try that again. I have tried bding every other day, every day etc. Not really going to worry about that anymore. If we feel like it great (last month that still turned into every day..)

I usually ovulate around CD 14-16 and have a luteal of 12-13 (this past month ov cd 16 and had 14 day luteal)

For the past 4 months (of course, just in time for ttc) I stopped getting EWCM and stopped spotting during ovulation. I had seemed very fertile until I needed to be.

I ovulated or got my surge on opk at cd 10 last month.. Early bird!! Wish I'd kept testing tho incase I got a second surge , damn it x
