Please bear with me, I'm still new here and in my first cycle of IUI so I have a lot of confusion and questions!
I had my day11 u/s this morning, and was told I have two great looking follicles (one on each side), which had me very excited. I've been on Clomid and Bravelle, and was told to do another injection tonight and come back tomorrow. Thought all was going just great, then he told me he also found a sizable growth, I'm not sure if it's on my ovary or my uterine wall. He called it an endometriotic growth (which is I guess a cyst). I believe they uncovered a very small one during my HSG, I'd have to go back and look at the report, but RE indicates it is either new or grown since the medication stimulated it. He says if I don't get BFP this cycle right away that they're going to do a "water HSG" (anyone know what that is?) and some kind of surgery to remove it because it could be acting as an IUD. Anyone have any experience with that one? I'm terrified that even if I get my BFP (which from the way he was talking is probably not going to happen), that this would increase my probability for m/c. I've already had one m/c in 2011 that they believed was ectopic and was treated with metho. That was awful, and I don't want a repeat, but I'm also very concerned that even if I'm able to get pregnant and stay that way that this would adversely affect development.
Anyone been in a similar situation? Thanks!
