Is anyone pre-preparing their Husband / Partner/ Babies Father a gift/card to put in with their hospital bag? I want to do something nice for my Fiance so once 'Pebbles' is born I can Thank him for all the support - particularly as I was kept in for 4/5 days after my last 2 babies.... Any ideas?

Hi hun ive done daddy gifts from baby I got a personalised mug some fancy tea and coffee and biccies for when he needs a break I got bath bubbles and a wake up shower gel multi vits to keep him well I got chocolate cigars some books a hand made heart which says daddy and a lucky sixpence also gonna get him a book or wii game plus a thankyou gift from me and I keep hinting at a pushing pressie for me so hopefully I get a super cute change bag lol

I was thinking of doing. I am due on the 13th September and its Ad's birthday on the 30th. I'm not exactly going to be in the shopping mood if I go the full 14 days over! lol.

I just got an "I'm the daddy" t shirt when DS was born. Not sure what (if anything) I'll get this time.

If you want a card you could use moonpig or funky pigeon etc to do something completely personalised.

i dont know whether to or not. Maybe something memorable like a small keepsake. As for push present, my due date is 28th september as is my birthday so id expect it'll be a combined push/birthday present, lol...:haha:
xxx

:hi:

I really want to do something special which can stay in the family. I was thinking about putting some seeds in the card so we can plant a family tree like an acorn tree and in the card saying from little acorns do mighty oaks grow.

Not sure yet, bit cheesy I know:blush: Just an idea I have had.

lovely ideas ladies...Particularly the seeds..... I want to do something really unique.... keep coming with the ideas tho...love it! x

I was thinking of getting something engraved.... and the "im a daddy" shirt.... i honestly have no idea though....

Im also getting a present for my son and the grandparent from bubs. Just cos for OH side this is the first girl. And their only grandchild. (Son has a different dad)

We were actually given a baby tree when we registered DS. We've planted it in the garden and it is actually still alive, despite our lack of gardening skills.

Depends how much you want to spend but what about something that he can keep then pass to baby later in life e.g. a watch? Maybe not the greatest idea if this isn't your first child and you don't have anything to give to the others but sharing in case it inspires a different thought.

I already have 2 daughters from a previous relationship which we will buy something for (it was my 5 year olds birthday recently and we got her a toy pram and doll to 'prepare' her) but I just wondered what others have done or planned, to see if there are any nice ideas x

I ordered a onesie with a tie and suspenders as a take home from hospital outfit, and was thinking about maybe getting him a matching t-shirt. (minus the suspenders) :)

My husband LOVES to read so I got him some of his favorite childhood books and a personalized book to read to his new little girl!

Eh, the father left me at the beginning of this pregnancy and magically wants to part of the birth and child's life. The only thing I'd get him is a douche bag of the year award :)
