Hello all, I am new here and just heard I am to be a proud daddy. We are 4 weeks pregnant. My wife is Cabin Crew (Flight Attendant) and is concerned about flying.
Ideally she would like to avoid flying all together, but to do that she would have to tell her manager (subsequently everyone else she works with). We haven't even told any family as it is that early on and if the worst happens and she MC, everyone at work would know, and we don't want that.
I have been doing some reasearch and from what I can tell she should be fine, provided she does not exceed 74 hours a month and avoids any long-haul.

Are there any other Cabin Crew out there who can help? We would love your input and suggestions.

Hi

I didn't want to read and run, but i asked a friend who was in cabin crew. She said what you said about not exceeding a 70 hours a month.

She caved and told her manager at 6 weeks, but made sure it was written notice of pregnancy and it mentioned in the notice that it was strictly confidential.
