Since last night my LO has been producing dark, smelly poos. She is EBF and normally her poos range from yellow to green and hardly smell at all (no one except me has any concerns about the green - GPs and HVs keep saying it's normal. Block feeding hasn't helped so know it's not a fore/hind milk imbalance. But, I digress....).
She's got a nasty cough and cold at the moment and is swallowing a lot of snot and mucus (gross, I know). I know this can affect the texture of the poo but can it affect colour and smell? Or should I be worried about something else?
