Hi Ladies.

I posted this in the toddler section, but think it may be more appropriate her and get some more responses.

Only recently Riya seems to sometimes zone out and stare blankly at nothing for about 10 seconds, she will be oblivious to people calling her during this time. Typically does it a few times per day at random times, ie eating, in buggy, whilst playing etc.

Ive googled it and read it could be linked to adhd or even be a form of epilepsy called absence seizures

Just curious to hear from mothers of children who have ADHD whether this is a typical symptom ? or whether I am just unduly concerned

:hugs:

With Ollie yes he does daydream, but what you are talking about does seem to relate more to the epilepsy seizures (have previously cared for a young adult with the same) have you seen a dr? (((((())))) xxx

it could be zoning out, like what oscar does with his asd, or it may be absences, or maybe just distracted and daydreaming, worth seeing the dr about though .

Thanks ladies, but she doesn't do it anymore, so guess it was just a phase.
