Dear world,

I've felt like death warmed up since friday morning. However, my daughter and 2 step daughters still need to get ready for 3 separate birthday parties today, and as much as I'd like to let them walk, I feel this would be irresponsible of me, so, looks like I'm going to have to get dressed!

I also appreciate that the 5 loads of washing in the basket aren't going to wash themselves and that the school uniform isn't going to let me sit down while it irons itself either.

All the kids need feeding, and I can't even remember what they had for lunch or tea yesterday.

I'm feeling slightly delusional due to my fever and my back is hurting that much I can't see how I'm ever going to manage to give birth in 19 weeks - I can barely breath in at the moment!

I've got a really important week at work, giving presentations to my many managers which could secure my future career with the company!

So, it's gotta be worth an ask....

World, can you please stop turning just until I'm feeling a little bit better?
