Going with the path of least resistance, I'm not pregnant. Had sex with a condom on May 7th, and I'm 41 and certainly wasn't trying to get pregnant. I've had 2 periods (or decidual bleeding?) and 2 negative hpt. Still. Had majorly swollen breasts immediately after would be conception date, have had pregnancy like dreams (crazy vivid like I have only when pregnant- I have 2 kids), and very mild but unrelenting all day morning sickness. I know other things can cause nausea, but this has that flavor of morning sickness. Could totally be phantom/psychological, and to some extent I'm just going to have to wait and see. I keep trying to just tell myself I'm not, but really have a feeling that I am, and know my body pretty well.
So my question is this. I've seen some people swear they had "regular periods" all through pregnancy, and some sites that say decidual bleeding should only be lighter than a period, closer to spotting. My two bleeds have been heavy, though just a tad lighter than usual periods and smell funny (have that very distinct metallic smell that you sometimes taste in pregnancy, which I have also tasted a couple times). If any of you have had full bleeds during pregnancy, please share your story. Did you continue with a healthy pregnancy? Miscarry? Problems with baby? I don't think I can get a definite answer on my own body right now (I'm not into ultrasounds, though buying a doppler soon), but looking for anecdotal evidence as to the possibilities at the time being. Thanks.
