Well Indie fell over, nothing new, but this time she cut her head on the fishtank. It hardly bled, which was surprising as it is quite deep. I am just wondering whether to take her to the doctors as it doesnt seem to be scabing over and i'm worried about it scarring and not healing.

Plus she is ill, cold/fluey, which made for a very unhappy little girl

Awww bless her - yes I would definitely take her - just for your piece of mind really. Or maybe an NHS walk in centre instead?

How deep is it? Daisy fell and cut her leg, it was gaping and about 1-2 inches long and she had to get it cleaned and butterfly stitched and dressed :flower:
I think with it being on her face you're best to get it looked at :flow:

Just reading the title I say yes definitely. Just to be sure, hope shes ok :hugs: x

sometimes once a certain amount of time has passed they are reluctant to stitch/steri-strip wounds. This is because after 8-12 hours, there will be a higher chance of infection if sutured. If it isn't healing at all though, I'd take her in.

Thanks for your advise, i think taking her to the walk in centre tomorrow if it is the same would be the best idea. We did toy with taking her tonight to a&e but she now has a temperature and is very upset so taking her out would be horrible for her. Lets hope all is better for her birthday on thursday!!!

Is she teething or anything? Could the temperature be related to the cut? :flower:

ETA- sorry, just reread OP!

No worries :) she was dreadfully ill last night, but is alot better this morning and the cut has scabbed over. Happy days :)

My nephew fell and knocked his head on the table just above his eye brow which bled an awful lot! We took him to a&e as it was evening and they glued it :)
