Phoebe is 8 months now and loves her booby milk as much as ever but has developed a very embarrassing habit. When she wants milk she literally tries to rip my top down to get milk and of course she has no idea that it's really not appropriate. Some poor bloke in a cafe today got an eyeful when he looked my way and I was trying to be discreet and therefore taking far too long for madams liking :haha: I'm hoping it's a phase, any suggestions on how I can speed it passing?

Also does anyone have any position suggestions for a very wriggly and active baby who really doesn't do sitting still these days?

No sorry i have no advice.. but made me chuckle.. what a cheeky monkey :) xx

Distraction always used to work well for me.

Offer a beaker of water or a snack?

I tried a beaker, she hit me with it! She does hit me, arch her back and screech if she's not getting cues from me that I'm going to feed her and appears angry but I know (hope? Lol) that it's just frustration.

Ah! All I can suggest then is either keep trying with different types of distraction - toy, rice cake etc or maybe get a nursing necklace and try to rationalise with LO that she can feed only when you have the necklace on??
Although she maybe too young for that concept yet

I'm sorry but this made me laugh too. Sounds exactly like my 7 month old.

And mine :) He sort of bows to my boobs when he wants a feed and then pulls my top, funny, unless we're out in public as you said ;) x

Jack lunges towards my boobs, grabs them with both hands and opens his mouth!! So funny. He can be very wriggly and restless too, ours are the same age. I havent found much that helps but sometimes gently stroking him or rocking him and humming or singing to him seems to calm him doen slightly.

It's very reassuring that others are having the same issues and I'm glad I made some of you smile. Tbh I can see the comical side too! These babies like to keep us in check lol

I'm not sure when it gets better. If I'm not quick enough, Simon will just try to latch on through my shirt, leaving me with a nice patch of slobber on my boob :dohh:

Mine still does this :dohh: Fortunatly i never go out
