Does anyone know - is dentinox meant to be really thick? I gave it to my baby the first time last night and she hated the texture and just spat it right out again. I assumed because it says colic drops on the box it would be much more liquid but my bottle is very thick and gooey.

Thank you!

Mine is gooey too. I think it's to stop them aspirating the stuff (where it goes into their lungs).

I find the easiest way to give the stuff is hold LO at a 45 degree angle (too upright and it's easier to spit out, laying down can make her gag), and give a little bit of dentinox at a time, squirting it into the cheeks, so it takes 4 or 5 goes to fully empty the syringe. And if they resist swallowing, a gentle blow in their face normally triggers a swallow.

I put dentinox in my LO bottle if you bottle feed, he hasn't even noticed a difference in his bottle and its really helping his colic.

I thought dentinox was a cradle cap shampoo. You can imagine what I was thinking when I read this thread! :dohh:

How does the dentinox help with the colic? I have been giving it to DD3 since yesterday (in every other bottle as can only have it 6 times per day) and with the bottles with dentinox in she seems to be harder to wind BUT saying that it doesnt seem to bother her that she doesnt get much wind up and it stopped a 4am crying fit and sent her to sleep, so it must be working, but just wondering how! xxx
