designing a new baby temperature product

Hello,

I am currently looking to design a product to help new mums to keep the ambient temperature of the room right for their new baby and I am interested in finding out what you think.

It would be a promotional product, given away by the NHS or shops etc.

When doing research I noticed that the NHS do promotional room thermometers and was wondering how many new mums were actually given one by the hospital when taking home their new precious bundle (if you are from the UK)?

Is keeping your baby the right temperature a worry for first time mums?

Have you got room thermometers?

Would it be useful to have one which is portable and can be taken in the car, on holiday, to your mum's house etc.?

I worry excessively over it and I have a groegg, the colours are really helpful as it only needs a quick glance for a check in the middle of the night But I'm not sure if it works because the ideal temperature seems quite cold me but I might be worrying too much about it :L
A portable one (say one for the car) would be a good idea!
