Desmond?

We've been struggling on boy names. We both keep being "Eh" about eachothers and moms have stood out to either of us. A few contenders have been Jacob, Damon, Ethan, etc.

Stumbled onto Desmond today. Hubby got really excited. We both loved the show Lost, and there's a Beatles song with a character named Desmond, etc. I can't decide if I'm loving it as much or if I'm just excited that he's excited about a name... Since he hasn't had major enthusiasm for anything yet, you know?

So honest thoughts, opinions, and such. It would be Desmond Allen. Probably Dez as a main nn. Thanks!

I like it. And to be honest I like it mostly because of the Lost connection, haha. I loved Desmond! Dez is a cute nickname also.

Honestly I don't like it, but I think I gave some association of it being an old mans name.
That said I live Emmet which may also sound kind of old!

I love Desmond, also Dennis and Denzil. All have associations with people I know past and present, so can't be used but I still love the names for someone else!
