Dh trying to put the baby to bed for the first time in five months....

He's been at in since 6.30, but she's obviously not tired apparently. So he's just waiting until she is. So far I've heard her laughing, screaming, and 'talking'.

And he wonders why I'm so knackered at the end of the day trying to wrestle her to sleep.

Aww my girl is a little monkey at bed times and takes anything you do as a game. I bath, let her watch in the night garden, has her bottle, read a book and change nappy if needed then I lay her in her cot and leave the room, she doesn't cry and I go back and check her in 5/10 mins. She is usually asleep. She's older than your daughter but we've been doing this a few months.

I gave up trying to let my husband help at night! I'm not very good at relinquishing control, so I tend to "hover" over him.
