When Grace came back from being with her dad on Sunday he said she had had a lot of runny nappies. She did one before she went to bed and it stank like fish only she hadn't eaten any fish (that I was aware of) She was ok yesterday but today she did a massive poo but it was really watery. Then about half an hour later she did another smaller one and that smelt like fish again. Now she keeps pulling at the back of her nappy like her bum is itchy or something is annoying her. She's ok in herself, not ill or anything. And she doesn't normally do poo's regularly. She hasn't eaten anything that she doesn't normally eat though so I don't know what it could be? Any help?

souds like some kind of infection take a sample to the docs for them to send off and then they can give treatment if necessary
hope all is well

If she's acting normally I wouldn't be too worried, it's might just be a virus that's causing it. Just make sure she stays hydrated. You can try things like yogurt or you can buy probiotics to put in foods to help too

Thanks ladies, I just Googled it (naughty me!) and it had a list of different types of diarrhea. The one she seems to have which is just the runny nappies and no other symptoms is apparently just "toddler diarrhea" which you can't give them anything for and is just one of those things. Just got to keep her hydrated :)

could she be teething again? my youngest is cutting his incisors now and has had some fowl fowl nappies the last 12 hours!

Harley had that for a while, though we came to discover she has a sensitivity to tomatoes. We started cutting certain things out first juice then tomato stuff, and she got better
