Hi... long shot I know but did any of you have night sweats still 3 months or more after giving birth? I ask because I'm STILL experiencing them and I usually wake up soaking the sheets, it's awful! Unfortunately had a depo shot about 7 weeks ago so I don't know if thats a side effect but I'm slightly worried in case its the reason I've been losing too much weight and whether theres a serious cause for it. :( Doctors wont listen to me anymore so not sure what to do!

I'm not breastfeeding btw, just FF and I don't suffer with them during the day.

It's very likely a side effect of the shot. I get horrible side effects from any type of hormonal BC. I only had sweats a couple of nights. Have you checked your blood sugar? Sometimes if it gets too low at night you will get night sweats.

I've had it checked before but not recently. It was fine then but who knows. Im also on Sertraline so I'm wondering if it could be that. In any case I hope it goes as its slightly concerning and I never feel well rested!

I am still getting them probably 4 nights out of the week! My GP said hormones can sometimes take 2 years to settle after pregnancy! And said they will very slowly and gradually stop! Also, it could well be the depo shot!

Things us ladies go through, eh?

Haha just typical. Its either my depo shot or the Sertraline or maybe not even those... maybe everything! Just concerned a little wondering if its something I should be addressing to the doctor, but I know they'll just send me away again with no answer.

I'm still getting them and my LO is 6 months. I haven't had any shots or am on any medication so am blaming hormones, awful things!
