contractions in labour that you didn't feel? I know it's a bit random but I have never been given an explanation for this and wondered whether anyone experienced this...

Yup! I was contracting when I was being monitored when overdue and didn't feel them - it wasn't even like a braxton hick.

Yes. I went in to be induced and they hooked me up to the monitor. The nurse said that I was already having regular contractions three minutes apart, but I never felt them.

Yes I didn't feel any midwife had to tell me when I was having them. I ended up having a section for unrelated reason but no one ever told me why the only thing I felt in a 12 hour labour was a headache x

I had to have NST's every week after 34 weeks, I was contracting every time I was on the monitor but they weren't regular or painful.

When my water first broke all I had was lower back pain. They admitted me and said I was contracting but not regular. When the OB came and examined me and broke the rest of my water the next day it started hellishly painful nonstop contractions. I really thought I was dying! My mom said I was so freaked out she could see my heart beating visibly.
