Did you have a sudden burst of energy before labour??

Hi ladies,

I was just wondering if you had a sudden burst of engery before labour began? Im 39 weeks today and Yesterday I was up at 5.30 cleaned the house the kitchen cupboards and its contents lol went for a long forest walk with the dog went to town to get last min bits and then today I woke up feeling very rubbish and had crazy braxton hicks last night and today have been having back and lower tummy niggles not all day but on and off? Is labour near or just wishful thinking? Xx

Yay lol how long was it before you went into labour after god engery burst? X

About 3 days max with all of them! I went mad, getting a big shop done, car cleaned out, house gutted, going for long walks etc! x

Er no I was exactly the opposite, woke up one day and had an overwhelming urge to go straight back to bed and have a bed day, was soooo tired, unfortunately OH chose to pick that time to drill the shelves into baby's nursery wall so I couldn't sleep. Waters went early afternoon.

Yeah!

I totally nested the whole day before! Rushing round the house doing lots of jobs! Did lots of cooking and baked a cake! Haha

Not I...both times before giving birth i actually had flu like symptoms (felt sleepy, had headaches, runny nose, etc). I looked back in my journal and it always happens a few days before and then my water breaks (on its own) and then it all mysteriously stops.

so no burst of energy for me but im sure some ladies experience it.

I spent the whole morning cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I just couldn't stop. I finished up just after lunch time and jumped in to the shower (I cleaned that whilst I was in there!) and as I was getting dressed, POP my waters went

I had a huge burst of energy the day before both of my previous pregnancies... came home from work Friday deep cleaned the house and had it sparkling had my first baby Saturday night....
Second time I deep cleaned the house, went on a 2 mile walk/jog shaved my legs and other things LOL , that was a Saturday had my son Sunday evening....good luck to you! Hope labor is soon for you

We were supposed to be moving house the day my daughter arrived and hubby says I was like a maniac packing the day before, I had so much energy.

It was for me too. I scrubbed my house the day before I went in2 labour, cleaned my oven, fridge, skirting boards literally EVERYWHERE! Fingers crossed its th same 4u too. Good luck, it the best feeling in the world x

Day 2 of nesting can't stop cleaning or finding hints to clean I have had to stop myself as my body is tired lol! Come on baby lol xx
