Hi Ladies,

Our LO can crawl but only goes a couple of moves before sliding down onto his tummy and going commando style!

Anyways, he's been cruising now for the past 3wks or so and am wondering if he'll maybe miss out the crawling and go straight for the walking!

Did any of your los not bother with the crawling?

Thanks C x

My brother didn't crawl or bum suffle, he went from cruising to walking. xx

Charlie bum shuffled everywhere and skipped the crawling :)

i had a bum shuffler too. she never crawled or even rolled until after she was walking LOL

Daisy crawled and cruised for about 7 months before she walked!

Jack crawled for a few weeks then it was onto the walking :) x

Gabriel commando crawled first. He then moved to pulling himself up and cruising along the furniture. I thought he might actually skip hands and knees crawling and go straight to walking, but he surprised us and decided to 'proper' crawl after all. He then crawled for a few months before taking his first steps. He was cruising the furniture the whole time.

nope, bella was definitely a crawler! she crawled & cruised for 5+ months until she took her first unaided steps last weekend.
xx

Ava crawled for around 3 months before she took her first steps. However I know plenty of people who's babies skipped the crawling stage and went straight to walking. It's completely normal.

Mojo commando crawled for months (8-11 months old), then learnt to crawl the normal way for a bit, then cruised, then walked (16 months old).

Our LO showed no signs of crawling til 10.5 months when one day she got up on her hands and feet like doing a handstand. She done this a few times then just suddenly started crawling about an hour later!

She took her first independent steps at 14 months:flower:

I have a shuffle bum who's now walking for past month no crawlung at all but cruised for a couple of months

Ihsan was crawling at 9.5 months and took his 1st unaided steps the day before his 1st birthday. He just walked after that and never crawled again!

Tom started cruising on furniture at 9 months and then totally out of the blue crawled at 10 months - I thought he was going to miss it out! He then crawled, cruised and walked holding hands until he took independent steps at 14 months. He will still crawl sometimes now if he's tired or just can't be bothered standing up when he's playing on the floor.

Fynn crawled for nine months!!!!!!! First crawled at 10 months and walked at 19 months!!!!! Mind you he can clear a room crawling faster than I can walking bless him

DS never crawled, never even attempted to and he started walking unaided the day before his 1st birthday. DD started crawling at 7 months then began walking unaided at 11 months.

Charlotte commando crawled for months and only proper crawled about a week before she started walking (at 11.5 months). She sometimes still crawls (when she is being silly or is overly tired) and does the proper hands and knees crawling.

DD never crawled (before walking), she walked at 13 months and has only recently started crawling so she can push cars along the floor!

i had a bum shuffler too. she never crawled or even rolled until after she was walking LOL
