is there anything I should know before I start dieting? I'm at my pre-pregnancy weight, which is more than i want to weigh... so I'm ready to start dieting/exercising to get myself where I want to be. But before I start, I want to make sure I know what I need to watch while bf'ing! Thanks!
You can exercise, but not diet while BFing. Dieting will cause you to lose your milk, and you actually need 500 extra calories a day for milk production. Eating heathy and exercising is fine though Just make sure that you don't BF for two hours after exercise due to the build up of lactic acid in your bloodstream.
