Difference between Clomid & Femara

Hello all.
I am new to the "assisted conception" side of things. My hubby and I are TTC baby # 2. We saw the infertility specialist and will start Femara, HSG, HCG, US. etc. in two weeks. I have been doing research but was trying to see what the difference is between Femara and Clomid. I ovulate on a regular basis so was just curious what this will do. Sorry to be a little ignorant, Im still a beginner at all this!

This will give you more follicules (eggs) than just the normal one. So higher chance.

Femera- no cysts or thinning of lining issue. No multiple risk. Down falls not approved for ovulation and usually only gives you one or 2 follicules

Clomid- some people have bad side effects. ..cramping..headaches..hotflashes..ect. risk of cysts and thinning the lining. More follicules! Which highers your chance of multiples slightly

I did 3 cycles Clomid horrible side effects switched to Femera for 3 cycles. Only got me one follicule. Back on clomid now side effects are worth it. Just had 10 follicules!

WOW, that was very informative. Thank you! I guess we will see how my body reacts I was just confused since I already ovulate on a regular basis. But, any help in the extra follicles I will take
