Digital vs cbfm

It's a case of be careful what you wish for lol spent months wanting +opk now I don't know if I believe it.
Got positive clearblue digital on cd11 and cd13 but negative on cd 12???
But I went with it and we bd like crazy.
Cbfm was low from cd8-cd18 then high from cd19 until now cd21.
There's a chance I could still get a peak but I'm curious why the two tests are so different. I did clomid 2-6 and metformin. As always my chart is next to no help and I never get a lot of cm. I just thought after so many months of charting and testing I would have learnt something about my cycle. Any ideas ladies please??????

Hmm maybe the clomid affected the early opks. I took soy iso (act like clomid) and they gave me early pos opks. It nearly killed us as we were bd'ing like there was no tomorrow. I didnt ov til about cd 20 with the 1st pos opk on cd 11. I decided to get a cbfm and its been right for me since using it. The other possibility is that you grared up to ov but didnt then your body tried again.

Ps if you are getting highs on cbfm keep bd'ing. i had 4 highs then 2peaks. i reckon from your chart you havent o'd yet and think you probably will get a peak soon. xx

It's cd24 and cb digital gave me a smiley face yaaaay ..... NOT !! It's the third smiley this cycle and cbfm still only high.
Any ideas ladies????
The first two smilies might have been because of the clomid or metformin I guess but this last one has got me stumped xxx

I did an ic opk this morning well two lol and they were pos and I got another smiley but cbfm still only high. Who knows Whats happening and I'm not sure o care as much as I used to xx

You sound like me hun, body just not doing what its supoosed to do. I have to say I've used cbfm for 2 months and its been a godsend, no more is it isnt it! But i have seen where some women only get highs some months but ov. Do you check your cervix or cm. the only crap advice i can give is keep bding. good luck and hoping you get your peak. Hows your chart looking? xx

Hard isn't it I swing from angry and determined to giving up.
I very rarely get ewcm and my sleep pattern is shocking so my chart looks like a money has drawn it lol
I've given up with the cervix thing cos I have no idea what I'm doing I'm hopeless.
Gives me hope that I'm not the only one with only highs though.

The CBFM will show high when your Estrogen is high.... For those of us W low P it will always be high until your P rises after O!!!!

Basically I got 8 highs but I Od according to IC so I took my P and the next day I got a peak!!!

That's why I keep telling u if your Hormones are outta wack or Ladies W PCOS the CBFM will drive u insane!!!

That's why I just started using the IC I can test twice a day I take pics to verify darkness and I think I should prob get my PHD in POAS!!!

I know for a fact the ladies that take Clomid don't test till 3-5 days after there last dose!!

I Od w no scan on CD12-13 so I'm not sure about this month but I was so sure about last month and got a BFN so we will see!!!!

Ok I stalked your chart it looks like mine the month I used the CBFM!!!

I would say u Od when your Highs started that's what happened to mine too!!

Hey, I just wanted to jump in, as I consider myself a "professional" when it came to using the CBFM, and the CB digi OPKs. Like you, I also took Clomid, although I took it CDs 3-7, rather than 2-6.

I do think that Clomid and CBFMs don't mix terribly well, regardless of what Dr. Google says. To be honest, I did have much better luck using just the digi smileys on my Clomid cycles, although I did have a couple of months where they detected 2 different surges in the same cycle.

The best advice I can give you, is to continue "humping it out." LOL! Although to not exhaust your partner's sperm supply, definitely follow an every-other-day BD schedule, rather than everyday. If you'd like to continue using the CBFM just to SEE if you'll get a peak, go ahead...but, really, while on Clomid, the CBFM may give you some erratic readings.
