ok i have had enough of my family with all their medical problems.

2 wks ago my bil had minor surgery on his knee, last tues my mil fell and badly sprained her ankle and knee so thats 2 in the one house on crutches. now we get to the mega drama of my family lol.

my nephew had gastic bypass surgery last fri but is doing great and came home today.

his sister was in hospital for minor surgery on friday too (was out that evening) for tests on her double womb, and checks on her 1 kidney. im not lying

their mum (my sis) has serious back problems and is in a wheelchair and while visiting her kids above on fri she thought she had sprained her wrist but she hadnt it was another disc in her neck gone completely

and then on sat my other niece was shifted to hospital with severe pain from endomeotris (sp?) and abdominal infection and possible cyst on her ovaries.

this is the norm with our family, more drama then a soap opera.

My god! Doesn't sound like they're doing anything by halves! Maybe you should get them all some bubble wrap for Christmas?

:haha: its always like this. drama drama. my dad is 80 and my mum is 78 and they are probably more healthy and fit then us young(ish) ones.

My goodness, sounds like my family! We've always been a very healthy family, no broken bones, no operations etc this year however has changed all that! After birth I needed an operation to remove my placenta. My daughter was born with a congenital condition and has so far had 6 operations. Shortly after my daughter was born, my brother had a very serious car accident leaving him in intensive care - breaking alls his ribs, puncturing his lungs, he now has metal plates in his jaw, knees, legs. My step mum then broke her arm kicking the ball for the dog. My youngest brother has obviously been feeling left out and damaged his knee playing squash, he also needs an operation.

Although, none of its especially funny we do maintain a sense of humour about it :)

i think its the only way for all ppl's sanity is to maintain a sense of humour, if we didnt we would be all insane.

i guess i spoke/type to soon. more drama last nite, my nephews gp had to call to him last nite as he was feeling very sick after the surgery, doc came to house, checked him over, hes fine. doc popped into see my sister and my niece and they were fine, he came down the stairs and on the last step he slipped on the dogs toy and doc sprained his ankle!! i had to giggle even though i know its not funny but im now completely convinced that my sister, her kids, house and business are all majorly jinxed and anyone in contact usually ends up with bad luck.
