Do hpt get darker for everyone the further along you are?

I have tested 13 and 14 dpo but my tests look the exact same and are faint but pink..

Ive had major anxiety all day about this as im worried my lines arent progressing... But do everyones lines always get darker?

I guess with that and the fact that ive been spotting since 9dpo im stressed.. I go to the dr tomorrow

I'm not sure about everyone and it could depend on the brand of test as well. My lines are very dark so much so they suck the control line dye...The last time I was preg I tested about 14dpo and they were good but not as dark. All I can say is try your best to think positive thoughts. These things vary so much from person to person. I had spotting too for a couple days and was really worried. I'm glad your getting in to see doc and I hope everything works out great. Hugs n fx!

Im using frer.. Ill test again in the morning. I think if it was one or the other but both have me super paranoid.

I'd say give it a couple more days. 24hrs don't really make a difference on frer. I found them getting darker once I skipped a day. so for example look at pic...

I'm now 16dpo and frer is now as dark as control line

Mine got a LITTLE bit darker on a daily basis (DH didn't really see it though). But was clearly darker on a 48h wait. I am sure it will be much darker tomorrow. Hcg doubles every 30 to 72 hours this early on. So I am sure you are fine. I have also been spotting since Saturday. Got blood drawn and mine is still doubling fine. I am only 17dpo though. So fx it stays that way. Good luck!

Have u had this pregnancy confirmed by blood work? I'm they will do a beta hcg blood draw regardless of urine test. My doc doesn't even bother with urine. Try not to worry hun.

I took a test everyday for like, 2 weeks… and no, they did not always look darker from day to day. From day 15 to 16 it almost looked lighter. I learned that you really shouldn't use EPT's that way, you'll just stress yourself out (like I did!)

No they have to run a blood draw for pregnancy. My Family doc is useless pretty much I just went in said I got 7 pos pg tests I need a blood test. Then couple days later I called in and his secretary said yes its positive and she told me my hcg levels. From there I need to call my obgyn and he will take over. I'm not even sure if my family doc would order a dating scan. Gotta have a specialist.

I hope they do that for me.. But they told me to bring in a urine sample.. Ahh!
Ive requested a midwife so im not sure which will do it.. It would be at least three weeks before i get a midwife

Oh and when i say spotting i mean theres like dark red/brown on a panty liner little bits throughout the day.. But when i go to the bathroom, i wipe red. Not like af but def a smear

normally as hcg rises, the line gets darker and it also depends how long you've held your urine in before taking the test. the longer you hold it, the more concentrated with hcg it is, so the lines become darker but i will say this(even though you probably wont be testing past 5 weeks) i took a test just as an experiment throughout my pregnancy with wondfos and they got lighter and fainter the farther along i became. this is because once hcg reaches a high level, the normal home tests get thrown out of whack because the level they are trying to read is beyond what they're made for.

Not well.. Went today they sent me for betas to confirm miscarriage.. Will have the results tomorrow morning..
But judging by my level of bleeding and the clumps ive been passing.. I dont think i need to wait for that call
