Do I really need a pump?

Im due with my second daughter anytime between satruday and October 8th and im planning on breastfeeding her. I didnt with my first so i literally know nothing of whats to come and I notice so many people mentioning pumping.

Do I really need a breast pump or can I just always feed straight from the boob? Dont want to waste the money if I dont need to.
 
I would at least have a cheap manual on hand (Medela Harmony works great). Just helps to relieve enorgment. Some women find hand expressing easier though :flower:
 
I only breastfeed but I still have a manual pump. I use it pretty much every day for engorgement etc, just a couple oz each time, but its nice to have a freezer stash just in case. With my last baby I used all of the extra stored milk to use in her rice cereal once she started on solids and I plan on doing the same this time.
