DH and I have a 20mo son named Magnus James and we have begun trying for #2. We are actually pretty set on these names as we had been discussing them months before TTC #2.I was chatting with my mother and she said that while they're nice, they don't "go" with Magnus James. I personally think they do but a few thoughts wouldn't hurt.

For a Girl: Remilia Carole-Eve

Remilia is my husbands choice and is the Italian feminine form of Remiel the Archangel of Hope. Carole-Eve is my choice, Carole being my husbands grandmother and Eve being my sister.

For a Boy: Alistair Carlisle

Alistair is just a name we both like but Carlisle is after my Papa.

We got Magnus James from SEVERAL sources in literature and pop culture, as well as history. The main one being Magneto from X-Men though. James is a family name on both sides.

I love your boys name, I do find the girls name a bit long tho, have you considered dropping either Carole or Eve?? The hyphenated middle name just seems a bit much with the 4 syllable first name..but thats just my opinion, you should choose whatever makes you happy :)

I really like both of them, they're both different without being too unusual

I LOVE Alistair . I think they both flow well with your sons name

Magnus and Alistair DEFINITELY go. I think they sound awesome together. I also think your girl's name goes. It's so unusual (I really like it) and I've never heard it before.

I love your choices in names! I think they all go together quite well. :)

Like the boys name a lot, goes really well!
