do you have to have a bloody show before labour???

Hi all,

I was jus wondering..do you always have to have a bloody show before labour???

I had a pinky/brown discharge with my last 2 pg's but this time I havent had anything yet and Ive only lost a tiny bit of what I think might be my plug..

i didnt have any show at all before my waters broke with DD1. first i knew i was in labour was the pop as i sat on the edge of the bed!! lol

No, not always. Or you can lose it when you go to the loo and might not notice it!

ive had my bloody show on thursday night and and a few contractions phoned mw she said im in slow labour. my contrations r now like one every 6 hours so its gonna be one hell of a slow labour haha. i read even if u have a show u can still wait up 2 weeks.

i lost my plug just before i was about to push caleb out. the midwife turned to me and said "you've just lost your plug" lol

Six kids, and only had a show once..So, nope.

only ever had a show with two of mine..first time was just before labour started..second time was when I was actually in labour
