do you think i could be in labour?

stoooopid question I know but just wanted advice!

Had sweep tues and a bit of a bloody show yesterday morning. Last night I started getting waves of pain going round my back and into my lower tummy that came every ten mins or so and pretty much made me want to hold my breath. then I went to bed, lay down and they totally stopped couldn't believe it. Sat up in bed and they started again. This morning, I woke about 5 and was in no pain at all, then about 7 they started again even when lying down and they are coming every 3-10 mins again now. Feel like the pains you get when you've got a tummy bug!

Any advice be great - I always thought I'd just 'know' and although my instincts are telling me this is the start of things having never done this before I cant be sure!

I've no idea but maybe a quick call to the hospital and see what they say?
