Does a secondary estrogen surge at 5dpo mean future BFN?

I'm 5 dpo today and my temp dropped below the cover line. It's too early to be an implantation dip so I figure its a secondary estrogen surge. From what I read, that surge normally doesn't happen if your pregnant. Anyone got any insight?

Don't want to give you hope, but this is not true, at least with me. My temp went under coverline 5dpo, not sure if it's implantation dip or second surge. And I have BFP 15 dpo (didn't test until AF is late). So, it's possible. Goodluck!!!!

I agree. When I was trying for my last baby I got a dip below coverline at 6dpo and got a positive the next day.

I just wanted to update the thread in case others are wondering the same thing someday...I got my BFP 5 days later! So no it doesn't mean you're out of the game.
