I feel really embaressed to be putting this but im sure im not alone. im a really deep sleeper and before i was pregnant OH never complained about my sleeping habits. But since ive been pregnant he said ive been snoring more and last night i woke up to pee and OH wasnt in the bed he was downstairs asleep on couch. Apparently my snoring was that bad i woke him up and when he tried to wake me up i wouldnt budge!
I feel like ive got a complexion about it now cos i cant stand it when someone else snores really loud and wakes me up.
Does any one know of any thing that i can take to stop me snorin!

I read we snore because of the pregnancy hormones somewhere... so atleast you know it's not going to be happening forever!!!

It said to either use two pillows (to lift your head a litle more) or use those Breath Right nasal strips? Don't know if you've seen them about, but you can get them in Superdrug or a pharmacy or something. You put them on your nose and it opens your nasal passages which alleviates snoring.

GL honey :D Thankfully DH hasn't complained about my snoring yet

i sometimes snore anyway heehee. i dont mean to obviously, i dont think anyone does haha. but i hate it. i dont snore a lot just when i'm really really tired. maybe try to have an afternoon nap if its possible so you dont get sooo tired you fall into such a deep sleep, or the nasel strips are supposed to be good. x

I snore like a buzz saw. My poor OH can't sleep some nights lol. He does try to wake me up but I'm such a heavy sleeper. Before I had my nose broken I never snored but the docs won't fix it so I'm stuffed.

My sister is currently 37 weeks pregnant and she has been snoring really badly since about 25 weeks - her OH has to sleep in another room too :)
She's just been admitted to hospital due to high blood pressure and last night the other ladies on her ward all asked to be moved because they couldn't sleep with her snoring so loudly - she feels mortified bless her!!! :)

 I'm sorry but that made me laugh so much!!! How embarassing for her

ive never snored ! OH hasnt complained to me but ive woke myself up a few times snoring lol! my nose is all stuffy and blocked im guessing this is why! i think blocked nose is a pregnancy thing? i had a nastal op to remove growth in my nose and ive never had a stuffynose since that was 3 years ago.. x

 hehe thanks for all the replieS!

Jennylow: bless your poor sister!

I think im gonna try some of them nasel strips my mam has just suggested them to me aswell hopefully they will work and my OH wont have any more sleepless nights!
Im glad to know im not alone :D

thankfully i am not snoring that badly at the moment, but i am drewling something terrible!!! i am waking up wiping my mouth and finding my pillow very soggy, lol, never done this before.
my hubby just keeps making jokes about him rolling over in bed onto my pillow slightly and ending up sleeping in a wet patch... cheeky sod he is.

hehe i also dribble alot latley lol! luckily my OH hasnt noticed this otherwise he would be taking the micky out of me too lol

YES!!! I was wondering if someone would start a thread on snoring.

My partner says I went from a mild snore to sounding like an airplane going overhead lol! I got myself worried a bit by googling and reading about oxygen deprivation to the baby, but he seems fine, heaps of movements and growing as normal.

I sleep in the lounge now on an airbed, and I have to say, I sleep better too. It's so comfy.

My OH proper thumped me on my bum last night for horrific snoring!
