How much do you pay and do you through a company or privately?

id love to have a cleaner but then id feel bad for someone else cleaning my house when i could do it myself.
cleaners can be quite expensive.
i no a private cleaner and she charges £20 a job n thats supposed to be cheap.

Rich is working all the time I need someone to keep me company

£20 a job? Is that 4 hours? If so that is cheap

yea £20 per house, think its like 3 hours but yeah is cheap, but for the simple cleaning that most peoples houses need its an expense id rather not have it lol

Once I give up Ben & Jerry's on Monday I'll have £20 a week spare

hahahaha

if we both worked full time id think about a cleaner but cuz im at home i might aswel do it or like today shout till oh does it. but i do hate housework

i didn't actually realise it was that cheap

might invest in one for the weekends

poor person wouldn't know where to start lol

thats only the cleaner i no, might be alot more expensive with other private cleaners or companies

Might have to google, thought since I was logged on I'd ask

oh i'd love a cleaner, my MIL looked into it (she needs kim & aggie not just one cleaner) and the cheapest she could find was £13 per hour
she didnt get the cleaner as she expected my OH to pay because she think i should clean her house as im not working (neither is she)

anyways slightly sidetracked cleaners can be expensive but if you are really serious gumtree an advert as some college/uni students might do it a bit cheaper

I have a fab cleaner, she comes in once a week, usually for about 4 hours. She cleans the whole house, changes beds, tidies up, basically restores order to my chaotic house...and she charges 20 pounds (although I give her 25 since she is so thorough and I want to keep her!). She is private, I found going through companies the rates were ridiculous. One lady charged 12.50 an hour - FOR CLEANING!! Seriously, most nurses don't get that good an hourly rate!

A few of my friends take the piss out of me for having a cleaner, but to me, I would rather spend 25 quid and have more free time to spend with my baby than trying to juggle work/Holly/house.

Having seen quite a few and spent a while searching, I would say in South Hampshire the average rate seems to be around 7/8 pounds an hour.

I've never had a cleaner but since i've went back to work i get a company to help with the ironing.

I give them 40 items to iron and it costs £20. I do it once a month and its brill. I tend to put in hubby's dress shirts and trousers for work and my work outfits and thats them done for the month

My mom has one (usually me) It is paid for by social services as she has 5 foster kids. $16/hr for 4 hours a week.

I could never have a cleaner because i know they would never meet my standards
