Does anyone temp with an irregular sleep pattern

The title says it all really. I want to start temping but I'm a nurse and work shifts. I just wondered if anyone else was in a similar situation and if you can still see a pattern from your temps?
 
just make sure you get a solid 3-4 hrs straight in before taking your temp and it should still give you a good pattern. And try for the same time whenever possible. Like 7am on a regular day and 2pm on a night shift day consistently, iykwim.
 
Yes you can, you have to have had at least three hours solid sleep. I temp but have a disrupted sleep pattern which varies from 2-5 hours although typically I see 4-5 hours sleep. It can make things look wonky on my chart but I can always see ovulation reliably and I also use OPKs to further help this
