Does cutting your hair short really help?

My postpartum hair loss is still going at almost 5 months pp and my hair is thinning so bad. I have some tiny bald spots but nothing major. Does cutting your hair short help give more volume and does it still hide the bald spots? Does it fall out less too or at least appear not to?

Hopefully this stops soon. I am fed up!

i'm still losing a lot of hair too i started taking vitamin d and i don't know if it's just a coincidence but my hair loss has slowed way down! i'm still losing, but not near as much!

as far as cutting your hair, if you did shorter layers, i could help create volume. but you would most likely still have to blow dry. i cut bangs to hide my receding hairline
