Tided up my daughters toys tonight missing a third of a jigsaw puzzle...4 parts of her leapfrog basket, and one part of a new toy she just got yesterday.

Is it just me that gets mad about this? My husband thinks I am being over the top, yet doesn't help me look which makes me more mad :dohh:

omg i hate this so much! i live in a small apartment and i look everywhere i possibly can and still cant find some things. WHERE DID THEY GO?

So glad I am not the only one I thought I was losing it! All the toys are in one room here too!

Yes, I go crazy if I can't find a piece of a toy! I just posted in another thread that I found a ball I've been looking for since maybe last year. I was so excited, DH probably thought I was nuts showing it to him, haha.

I spent a long time organizing our house (for baby proofing, etc) and until LO I was never this organized so I hate it now if I can't find something.

i found this cool DIY under the sofa toy catcher so now when im missing something i can rule out under the sofa, which is always a pain to look under and get

Yes!! I can sometimes find things as phoebe has her fave hiding places around the house (letterbox on her playhouse, laundry basket, kitchen bin (!), storage drawer on oven) but some things just vanish!

Mine put things behind radiators! It is now always my first checkpoint if what is missing is smallish or flatish. Sadly many things are just stuck forever as I learnt the hard way NOT to unhook the radiator from the wall brackets :haha:
But yes it makes me crazy too. None of their puzzles are complete and it is one of the reasons they are not getting any more advanced ones for this Xmas :haha:

Yes, I hate it. Today I spent nearly an hour looking for a baby milk bottle for her doll and she'd stuffed it in her nursery backpack, which of course I unpack and put away after nursery but she snuck it in and it's been hanging in the cupboard for 5 days!!!

I have major OCD about everything being in it's correct place at bedtime, including anything that goes in a certain order (I.e alphabet books (thanks for my friend who bought that! :growlmad: ) and things that go in a box.

Yes!!!! It gets me soooo irritated.
lucas got a sesame street playset a few days ago from a party santa and has 'lost' both the figures already. They will be found at some point but what can you do with a little playhouse with no figures.

he has a ball thing that the balls slide down but he has misplaced all the balls.
he has shapesorters with no shapes to sort and the list goes on and on.
they are always found eventually but I just WISH he could understand that certain things have to stay together!

YES!! I've been looking for Mrs Potato Head's nose for days! And the very day I brought home the M&D cupcake decorating toy, 2 of the icing tops went missing and I've yet to find those. I've torn my house apart twice searching for the darn things.

Yes yes yes! I find stacking cups all over the places some are in the bathroom some in her toy box. Her lift out puzzle is always missing s piece (it has usually been posted under the couch). I spend ages in the evening trying to match it all up.

Yes!!

My dog enjoys wood, so it drives me insane that I never know if a puzzle piece is just lost or if the dog ate it. And like AngelUK they end up behind the radiator often too.

She also brings things upstairs to my parents house, and my mom has a habit of picking things up and putting them away anywhere they fit so at least once a week I have to go searching her towel cabinet, random boxes and drawers for toys Abby insists she needs,

yes!

the only way I can mentally and emotionally cope with all the clutter/mayhem in here is to have everything neatly put in its spot at night time. when things are missing.... ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Yes. Annoys me so much. Especially when you need all the pieces to play correctly like a jigsaw. Things like a missing happy land character annoy me but I can live with it, if it's a jigsaw I'd have to throw it away if I can't find the missing peice.

YES. Drives me absolutely nuts. My DH thinks I'm a bit psycho about having to have all the toys organized just so, with all the like toys in bins together, and searching the house if I know something is missing. If he puts toys away, he just throws them all randomly in the toy organizer with no rhyme or reason, and it bothers me so much that I have to go redo it. He asks why, and I guess I have no real reason other than its annoying to me.

Yes! We've got a bingo game with a missing piece. It drives me mad! oh couldn't care less, he doesn't understand why I get so cross. X

Yes! The worst of it is my DS can tell at a glance if something is missing as well. The worst things are his busy book toys, his set of yoga pretzel cards and his set of 68 thomas the tank engine books. Puzzles generally just annoy me as DS prefers to just take all the pieces out and play with them rather than do the puzzles.
