Does ovulation happen AFTER LH surge goes down? Or before?

Hey ladies, does anyone know if ovulation happens before or after the LH surge goes down? I got a positive opk on Nov. 5, but again on Nov.6 and I'm not sure if ovulation occurs after the LH surge disappears. So since I had a positive opk 2 days in a row, does it mean I ovulated in that 2 day time period, or after the 2 days was over? I know you're supposed to ovulate 12-36 hours after a positive opk, but does that mean from the first day of a positive? Or the second day? Anyone know? Thanks ladies.

Hi, I always thought it was the 12-36 after your first positive but not entirely sure, hopefully someone will be able to let us both know because i'd be interested to know too xxx

Thanks for posting this! If that's correct, then it seems that I am a day off from what I thought I was. I thought I was 9 dpo today, but I guess I'm really 10!

The day you Ov is the day the surge goes away... meaning... you would get a pos test during the LH surge (B4 you Ov), then you should Ov right after that... does that help? lol.
