Does *pressure* ever accompany ovulation?

I've heard many people talk about pinching/stabbing pains during ovulation. But every month, around CD 12 or so, I begin feeling pressure in my lower left abdomen. It's weird because the pressure intensifies when I pee. The pressure can be painful sometimes, and lasts for about 2-3 days. Is this ovulation pain? I've only had it since I got off the pill--no such pains during the pill.

I remember having similar pains a long time ago (probably a decade or so ago) when I wasn't on the pill, and seeing an OBGYN about it. They did ultrasounds and told me at the time it was an ovarian cyst that appeared only during ovulation and that it was nothing to worry about. I don't know if this is the same thing....Just not sure if the pressure/pain is something I should worry about?

Hi, this is my first month off the pill and I started using oks this week and got a positive on Friday which was cd11, and all day yesterday I was getting achy, pressure pains in my lower left abdomen so I think this could be ovulation pains, I don't think it is anything to worry about :flower:

That gives me some reassurance--thank you!
