i think my LO is teething and he's been doing gross eggy farts... do you think they're linked?

he is breastfed but i can't think of anything i've changed in my diet...

I've heard that teething can cause worse smelling nappies, so maybe it does effect the farts too!!

Yes!

Last weekend I rubbed her back into a rash thinking it was all wind

She had murky nappies (tending to green) and I thought it was my milk upsetting her... I was pulling my hair out!

Oh god my LO is doing all this, really smelly farts, awful green murky nappies, and has been drooling today and struggling to sleep and has skipped a bottle- he's only 10 weeks old, surely not already?!

re. EMYJC's questions about whether 10 weeks is too early to teeth.... I was told today by a midwife that Sebastian is teething. He's 9 weeks old!! So I guess it's not too early

There's the saying 'babies can be born with teeth' - so not too early I don't think.

I think this must be true as Toby has been so farty over the past fortnight and we've had a couple of really gross frothy green poos in that time as well. And he will NOT take his hands out of his mouth at the minute, literally the only time he doesn't have both hands in his mouth is when he is asleep! I keep looking in there to see if i can see anything resembling the beginnings of a tooth but so far there doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary- just masses and masses of drool EVERYWHERE!
