I've wrote my letter to inform work that I'll be returning .
I was just wondering if you lovely ladies that have already returned or who are due to return could have a read over my letter and tell me if it's ok or to formal etc..

Dear My Managers Name Here
I am writing with regards to my maternity leave.
My maternity leave started on Monday 12th of April 2010. I intended to take the 39 weeks off as I was informed by my line manager that this would be the amount of time off I am entitled to with SMP.
Going by these dates my maternity leave will end on Monday 10th of January 2011.
Although this is the date I wish my maternity leave to end this will not be my return date. As arranged with my line manager before my leave commenced I booked 3 weeks holiday commencing Saturday 15th January 2011 until Monday 31st of January,meaning my return to work date will be Saturday 5th February .

Whilst writing I would also like to ask if I can book Sunday 15th May 2011 as a day’s holiday as it is Olivia’s first birthday.

Also since my leave started I have moved so my address has now changed.

I would be most greatful if you could write back to me to confirm my return dates and also if it is possible to book the above date as a day’s holiday.

Sounds ok but what about tuesday 11th jan - fri 14th jan?? There is a little gap between your last day of maternity leave and your 3 wks holiday starting?

I'm only going back PT hun.. Saturday - Monday to start with and then I'm going to see if I want to up my hours as I go
