Is there any lo's out there who dont have their milk as soon as they wake? How long are they awake before wanting their milk?

Some days Maria wont have it when she wakes, sometimes she won't have it til after her first nap.

Some days Lucy isn't very hungry when she first wakes up in the morning and she doesn't seem to get hungry until a bit later. Sometimes she wakes up ravenous!

We don't have morning milk anymore but from about 4 months I could get LO up, washed and dressed before giving her her milk.

Hiya Fabby

Coralie doesn't want her milk straight away, if I offer it to her she refuses. I normally give her a bottle about 30-45 minutes after getting up. Then her solids about 30-45 minutes after that!! Sometimes she even has a little catnap inbetween first bot bot and brekkie :haha:

most days Nora will just roll around in her crib and chatter to herself, waking me up, for a good half hour before she decides she wants some boob

If Fran has a bottle in the night she won't want one in the morning when she wakes and will just wait until her normal time for breakfast. But usually she goes through from about 7.30pm until 6/7am without a bottle and will have one as soon as she wakes up xx

I was just about to post the same thing. Leo had a bottle at 4am, and I troed to get him to have one when he woke, and at 9am he still doesnt want it. But just devoured his breakfast...I am a bit concerned, as he has started refusing bottles!

After her 45 minute naps in the morning she won't have milk when she wakes up till at least an hour and a bit after. After her 2 hour nap in the afternoon she'll have milk when she wakes up.

In the morning she'll have her milk after about half an hour. We do some giggles and nappy change and change into clothes first.

Myles has always been the same. Despite the fact he hadn't eaten for nearly 12 hours, he was happy enough just kicking and playing whilst I had breakfast this morning. He'll refuse his bottle if I give it him too early, so we get up, change nappy and he plays while I eat, then he eats about 30 - 45 minutes later.

Pretty normal then! Here's to figure this new routine then! Well I say new, ive noticed it for a bit now and when this could be the reason why he isn't drinking any or much of his morning bottle cus im offering it as soon as he wakes.

So if fran as a bottle in the night she won't have her morning bottle either then? He's like this too x

Lil' wont have a bottle until about 1hr later.

I get her dressed at the first nappy change as this is when she is most content. Nappy changes for the rest of the day are tough with her squirming and protesting.

She can usually sleep 8 till 6 with the last bottle at 7.30ish. She'll wake between 6 and 7 and have a bottle an hr later.

At your LO's age Tegan wasn't a morning eater now. Now (she's three) she gets out of bed asking for milk and breakfast

Nope. She had one at 1.30am this morning and then started omnomnom-ing at 6am so got her another bottle and she refused it. She was still nomming (which is her new hungry signal) but I flat out refused to get out of bed and give her breakfast at 6am lol. She wouldn't settle at first but I laid there with her head in the crook of my arm and she drifted off and didn't wake until 7.30am - a much more reasonable time lol!

My daughter usually wants to wait at least 30 mins if not an hour before she has anything. I offer her water when she gets up, and she may drink some, but she's normally not interested in food until later on, and when she was younger she was like that with her milk too.

my lo won't want a bottle for about half an hour to an hour after waking. He still has a night feed tho so this maybe why.. Jx

Brill thanks for the replies ladies, my Lo is being normal then!x

Sounds normal to me. My LO isn't interested in eating first thing in the morning. He'd rather stretch, look around, giggle and play. He's usually hungry within an hour of waking though.

George is just the same. I wake up to him chatting!
