for his 4am feed he went mad - really slurping and gulping like never before....and the same this morning??? Could i have gotten more milk???

yes. Yesterday was the first day he seemed to settle? xx

That will be why then. You have been producing enough milk for the growth spurt but it should settle over the next couple of days back down again xxx

As Logie says thats your clever boobies adjusting to his needs - they will go up and down like that but remember that you have to let them know when the next spurt comes, by putting him on - as quick as they settle now remember that they will up their game again just as easy next time you need them too - they just need the cues!
