Does your toddler act like a clown and try to make you laugh?

Most days all Thomas does (when not eating or sleeping) is walk around waving him arms in the air laughing and singing or making weird noises, then looking at me to see if I am laughing at watching. He LOVES when people laugh, and he copies adults laughter. It's hilarious!

He copies my laugh, and his great granddads deep laugh, and pulls silly faces all the time. He loves screwing his face up and snuffling like a bulldog, then he slaps himself on the head and laughs like a lunatic .

Today my mum was sick so came and hrung around with us, we were both laughing at Thomas so much that we were crying.

I get the feeling hes going to be the class clown.

What funny things does your toddler do?

Nim likes to hide and pop up at us, or bring me something, chortling away until I grab it then she runs off and finds something else. Or if i have something she wants she'll bring me a swop.

She does laugh/giggle etc but not as much as other kids

Her funniest thing is diving head first not our beanbag and flipping herself over then lying back and sprawling and chilling.

our LO has a few things she does to get us laughing and loves to fake laugh once we start going. she has this expression on her face that says "i'm apart of this too" it's the sweetest thing, but your LO sounds much more hilarious, maybe you have a little comedian on your hands.

nonny always tries to get me to laugh. if i'm not smiling, she'll do whatever she can to get me to smile.

Yes Ruby is a total clown! She puts on a right show with dancing, singing, generally throwing herself about! She also asks for things she knows she's not allowed, just to wind me up, e.g we'll be playing and she'll do a big smirk and say 'I want my DUMMY!' and laugh her head off.

Lillian has a great sense of humour too. She will often fake laugh if i am laughing and often laughs at her own trumps.

If we are messing on the bed she will pretend to fall flat backwards and then make me jump after a while of not moving.

The other night we were both playing on the floor and she lifted up my top and blew raspberries on my tummy. I was gobsmacked!

We used to mess with Lucas sniffing his feet and saying "bleugh" or "yuck" Now he does it all the time even to random people at groups - goes up sniffs them and screws up his face saying "bleugh" Is funny but not everyone seems to appriciate being sniffed!!

Aw cute! Madi is quite quiet really, and she wont go out of her way to make you laugh. But if she does something and we laugh she repeats it and repeats it so that we laugh at her.

And she is so so wonderful with her brother. She is always trying to make him laugh and smile! Its adorable. He loves her so much too

Maria doesn't try so much to make us laugh but loves to laugh herself. If me and OH are laughing at something else (like a funny picture on the internet) she'll join in even though she clearly doesn't know what we're laughing at - she's going to be one of those people that laugh awkwardly at jokes she doesn't get

This thread has made me smile!! So cute!!

Dd has just learnt to do a fake smile - its really big & wide, with wide eyes & raised eyebrows. She does it when she wants something - so if she points to her crisps & we say 'no' she does the fake smile as if to say "pleeeeeaaaaase!!". She also has a funny laugh (in addition to her "proper" laugh) that sounds really sarcastic - like "yeah, that was funny. Not". It cracks me & oh up and when we laugh at her she does it even more. We all sound like beavis & butthead in our living room!

Alexa does a couple things. depending on her mood. Lol. She has her serious mood then her class clown mood.

She likes to put her shoe on her head just so that I say, "Heyyyyyyyyy!! That doesn't go there" and she busts out laughing. She knows they go on her feet but she thinks it's funny to put it on the wrong place. Lol.

she likes to hide behind our door and tries to scare me by saying "Rahhh" in a really quiet soft voice. like that's gonna scare anything!

She likes playing peekaboo with random things.bloke if I'm look in her direction she'll peek her head around and under chairs and screams "a-gahh-bahh" which I guess is her way of saying peek a boo. Lol and then laughs hesterically.

And she thinks it's funny to run away and squeal in hysterics when I tell her to come here or try and put her hat on her head. Lol.

there's more I just can't think. Lol.

oh and she likes to grab my big toe!! Because she thinks it's funny because I always tickle her feet. Lol.

Aww yes Ivy does it too. As soon as she senses that something she does is getting some laughs she goes soo over the top and does it over and over again. Toddlers are so bloody cute

The fake laugh is so funny! All Thomas does is fake laugh. His real laugh is like a special little treat. He sounds like the Nelson (?) off The Simpsons, HA HA!

He started a new weird fake laugh today, it's really high pitched.

Constantly. If we laugh at something once he's just keep repeating it and laughing himself. He does the best impression of me laughing but trying not to laugh!
