Hi everyone,

My mum wants to buy Freya a doll's pram or buggy for Christmas.

She was looking at these -

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dolls-Worl...f=sr_1_7?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1316442769&sr=1-7

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dolls-Worl...sr_1_12?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1316442955&sr=1-12

Now obviously id have to measure Freya as i'm not sure if the handle height would be ok on the pram.

Just wondering do your LO's prefer to play with a pram or buggy? Trying to find a decent combi with good reviews, longevity and ideal for a 20 month old is near impossible!

As you're in the uk i would suggest you look at Argos or Tesco. Both of those have some really good deals on pram/buggy sets.

Personally i would choose the pram for my little one. She's two next month but we're not thinking of getting her one until she's 3.

i'd be more tempted to go for either the mama's and papa's or Silver Cross are their build quality is supposed to be pretty good

Thanks Rach :)

Those are lovely but we're looking for the little toddler ones as Freya will only be 20 months at Christmas and those are for 4-7 years.

Maybe a little Hello Kitty one would be better.

She has a walker buggy from tesco at mums and she loves it.

Ahh - i didn't know there was a difference. The two that you liked are really nice. The pram is my favourite.

One thought i just had about why i'd choose pram over buggy is because my lo tries to sit in the buggy ones rather than push it around. My in laws bought her a little one really cheap. It was a Baby Annabel one and it you want a buggy then it is good.

Madi has a pushchair which we got her when she was 2. She is forever falling over with it though :dohh:

She wants a pram for Christmas now...

Id say the pram is the better option! So cute too :)

We have both. The pram was quite pricy and it looks really nice, the buggy was very cheap (I think from Asda). Sophie only plays with the buggy :) She would sometimes push the pram and then leave it in the corner, for some reason she just doesn't like playing with it.

I want to get Daisy a pram. There are wooden ones at playgroup which are nice but she tries to get in :dohh: she's got a thing for sitting in boxes.
I think it's personal preference really, I like the first one best!

I got Abigail a buggy last year and the fabric kept coming off where it joined the metal frame (where the Dollys legs would be) Led to a sticky out metal bit which she caught her ribs on b4 i threw it away. I would say a pram as there are less sticky out bits to get caught on!
